Writing a personal letter- Exercise 4 (+ text "Us and Animals")
Quiz
Letter 1
StPetersburg Russia
8th June
Dear Clair, Thanks very much for your letter. It was lovely to hear from you. I have good news. Guess what! My parents say I can have a pet for my birthday. Isn’t it fantastic? I’m not sure what kind of pet to get. Have you got a pet? What do you think I should get? I’d like to have a dog. Dogs are faithful and affectionate, and we wouldn’t have to worry about burglars. My Dad says that dogs can be noisy and disturb the neighbours. Do you think dogs are too much trouble to look after? Maybe I should get a cat, or a hamster. Let me know what you think. Well, no more news for the moment, but I’ll write again soon. Love, Nell
